That's why we hand-selected only the finest salts for Chef Salt. Each Chef Salt seasoning blend has been meticulously tweaked, tested, and tasted for at least a year in a huge range of preparations from rubbing them into dry-aged steaks to sprinkling them on roasted donut peaches to swirling them with clarified butter in classic chicken vindaloo. Each Chef Salt blend features a natural sea salt or mined salt that was expertly matched to a well-balanced mix of herbs and spices. Acclaimed chefs David Joachim and Andrew Schloss developed the seasoning blends and the salts were hand-selected with the help of international salt expert Mark Bitterman. Each spice and herb in Chef Salt was chosen for its outstanding sparks of flavor, color, and texture. The artisanal salts were selected for their remarkable flavor, color, mineral content, moisture content, and shape.
